Class Money
Class Money (EC – G5)
A collective fund contributed by parents at the start of the academic year to facilitate a range of class activities and allows your grade rep to create a fun and supportive experience for your child’s grade community. This contribution is separate from the PTV membership fee.
Funds are paid directly to the grade rep / class parent, who is responsible for managing and utilizing class money. Contribution amounts vary from grade to grade so please check with your grade rep if you are unsure.
Class money is used for things like:
Class teacher gifts
Funding raffle baskets for Winterfest (€5 from your donation goes towards this)
Donation to PTV to help cover Christmas gifts for administrative staff, canteen staff, cleaners, security and bus drivers (€1 from your donation goes towards this)
Providing snacks and drinks for grade-level activities like Sports Day
Supporting other initiatives that enhance the classroom experience
